VIDEOS

Talks, panels, interviews, and the occasional stray clip. This is where the work speaks out loud—sometimes planned, sometimes improvised, always in motion.

FluTV – Kültür Kantarı Series

In 2022, I hosted seven episodes of Kültür Kantarı for FluTV—a series where I explored literature, culture, and the sometimes strange intersections between them. Each episode dives into a different topic I care about, from gothic fiction to translation to the chaos of publishing.

Çeviren Yazarın Editörü Kim? – B01
I opened the series with a look at the behind-the-scenes tensions between translators, writers, and editors—especially when one person tries to be all three.

Okur Ne Okur Ne Okumaz – B02
A playful deep dive into reading habits: what we pretend to read, what we actually finish, and why certain books collect more dust than others.

Kendimize Yazmak – B03
Should every reader write? I explore that blurry line between private journaling, public voice, and the urge to turn thought into text.

Bilimin Canavarlaşması (Frankenstein) – B04
A close look at Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein—what it says about scientific ambition, monstrosity, and the limits of responsibility.

Euphoria Kafası – B05
I reflect on HBO’s Euphoria and what its hazy, hyper-stylized depiction of youth culture gets right (and wrong) about the present.

Toplumun Kanatan Yarası: Dracula – B06
Gothic horror, repressed desire, and immortal metaphors—this episode unpacks the cultural anatomy of Dracula.

Tepemizdeki Gölge – B07
I talk about my debut novel Tepemizdeki Gölge—how it came to life, what it wrestles with, and where it stands between satire and sincerity.
